During a recent plant tour, U.S. Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (third from right) poses with members of Hollywood Bed’s management team, (from left) Janet Moss, Jon Mullinax, Larry Harrow, Alberto De La Torre, Jason Harrow and Larry Leeb.
U.S. Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard paid a visit to the Commerce, California, headquarters of Hollywood Bed Frame Co., which in the previous 12 months has doubled the size of its workforce.
The congresswoman toured the bed-frame, base and hardware supplier’s plant and learned more about the company’s recent growth from Hollywood Bed Chief Executive Officer Larry Harrow and President Jason Harrow.
“I thank Larry and Jason for taking the time to show me their 90-year-old family business and for talking with me about ways to bolster American manufacturing,” Roybal-Allard said. “It’s so important that we maintain a strong manufacturing base in California’s 40th Congressional District and bring American jobs back to the U.S. That’s why I support legislative efforts such as the ‘Make it in America Challenge’ to foster American manufacturing growth by promoting U.S. exports, encouraging businesses to bring jobs to America, and training America’s workers to meet the demands of the 21st-century economy.”
