The Mattress Recycling Council is hosting an information session about state recycling programs during summer Las Vegas Market.

When: Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1 p.m.
Attendees will learn about the Bye Bye Mattress program, the proposed fee and plans for California and Rhode Island, and get an update on the progress of Connecticut’s implementation.
The Mattress Recycling Council is a nonprofit organization formed by the bedding industry to operate recycling programs in states that have enacted mattress recycling laws. Connecticut’s program launched in May, with California and Rhode Island expected to begin in 2016.
