
Dollar value in millions of mattress and foundation sales during the first six months of 2015, compared with the same period in 2014.
Mattress sales advanced 8% in June compared with the same month in 2014, according to the Bedding Barometer, a monthly report of U.S. mattress sales published by the International Sleep Products Association. The wholesale dollar value of those units sprang up 12.2%, while the average unit selling price increased 3.9% compared with June of last year.
Year-to-date unit sales and the wholesale dollar levels of those units increased by 4.9% and 7.5%, respectively, compared with 2014 levels. The year-to-date AUSP also grew 2.5% over the same period in 2014.
