For retail sales associates, it can be tough keeping up with the new technologies constantly appearing in mattresses, the latest sleep research and other advancements.
As one piece of a three-part tech package to educate RSAs and consumers, Atlanta-based Simmons Bedding Co. has created a series of short, fast-paced videos it calls SIMple Facts. Each 30-second explainer focuses on “one ‘big’ idea, providing RSAs with quick, digestible factoids to educate themselves and interested consumers,” according to a news release.
Initial SIMple Facts videos include one about a Temple University School of Medicine study that shows participants improved their sleep on a ComforPedic iQ sleep system and another about the diamond particles incorporated into the Micro Diamond Infused memory foam used in some
The videos are available on Simmons’ YouTube channel.
SIMple Facts was introduced at the summer Las Vegas Market, along with SIMulator, an app that triggers a 3-D model to explain mattress construction on the retail floor, and RetailLive, an app from Wright Global Graphic Solutions that activates product videos and demonstrations throughout a store.
