I am tickled pink to introduce to you the newest member of our staff. Betsi Robinson has joined the publications team of the International Sleep Products Association in the newly created position of associate editor for Sleep
Savvy and sister magazine BedTimes.
In her new role, Betsi is responsible for editing and writing articles, coordinating production with editors and design staff, and contributing to the editorial direction of both publications, their websites and their other digital media vehicles.
A skilled editor and journalist based in Greensboro, North Carolina, Betsi has worked for Sleep Savvy and BedTimes as a copy editor and in other freelance roles since 2011. Before joining ISPA, she was director of communications for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to that, she spent more than 15 years with the Greensboro News & Record in a number of roles, including community news editor, enterprise editor, assignment editor, columnist, editorial page writer and High Point, North Carolina, bureau chief. Her background also includes reporting and editing stints with the Winston-Salem Journal and the Henderson Daily Dispatch. Among her many accolades, Betsi is a two-time winner of the Carl K. Bell Editing Award, North Carolina’s top editing honor given by the N.C. Associated Press.

Having worked with Betsi for three years now, I know her proven journalistic excellence will strengthen and expand our already energetic and ambitious publications staff. We are delighted that she has joined the ISPA team, and I know she will help make Sleep Savvy an even more informative and useful magazine for you.
