Organic latex foam manufacturer Latex Green Private Ltd. will celebrate its 20th anniversary in January 2025. Founded in 2005, the company’s production facility is based in Avissawella, Sri Lanka, and has a North American regional office in Brampton, Ontario, exporting eco-friendly products to 35 countries.
According to a news release, Latex Green was the first certified carbon-neutral latex foam producer. The company has earned multiple globally recognized certifications for quality and sustainability, including the Global Organic Latex Standard, Carbon Neutral Certification, ECO Institut, OEKO-TEX, LGA certification for durability and resilience, Global Organic Textile Standard, USDA National Organic Program, EU organic and Sri Lanka organic certifications, Sustainable Furnishings Council, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 50001:2018 and ISO 14046:2014.
Company officials said these certifications reflect Latex Green’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, providing safe, durable, comfortable, eco-friendly and ethically produced bedding solutions that customers can trust.
Through its fair business practices, Latex Green has also contributed to enriching lives and eradicating poverty in Sri Lanka, creating employment opportunities for more than 1,000 families, with an emphasis on employing women, the news release said.
