Alexium Inc., a performance technologies specialist based in Greer, South Carolina, has launched BioCool PL Plus, a phase change material designed to deliver sustained cooling performance across the full sleep cycle.
According to a news release, BioCool PL builds upon the foundation of Alexium’s proprietary BioCool microencapsulation platform with a newly engineered shell structure that reactivates faster and enhances thermal stability. The bio-based PCM technology is optimized for bedding and textile applications where long-lasting cooling and environmental responsibility are critical differentiators.

Company officials said that the launch of BioCool PL reflects growing demand among bedding and home textile manufacturers for natural performance technologies that go beyond passive claims.
