NEWS RELEASE | WINTER 2024 LAS VEGAS MARKET
Leading mattress manufacturer, Bedding Industries of America (BIA), will debut Embrace Sleep, a new line of latex split-head beds, at the upcoming Las Vegas Market in January. A new addition to BIA’s brand, the line addresses the growing demand for eco-friendly, comfortable mattresses at an affordable price point.
The three-model collection consists of split-head king and queen beds in 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch heights. The mattresses are constructed using Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS)-certified Dunlop latex encased in a zipper cover crafted from 600 GSM (grams per square meter) stretch knit spandex cotton. To ensure a cool, comfortable sleep, the mattresses are enveloped in a natural flame-retardant rayon made with New Zealand wool for the ultimate in breathability. The collection also features split-head king and queen GOLS-certified organic latex toppers.
“The Embrace Sleep collection was born from discussions with our dealers who were looking for a premium, latex product to put on their floors,” said BIA’s Chief Operating Officer, Philip Carlitz. “As one of the largest purchasers of latex, we were in the distinct position to fulfill this demand. We’ve designed a product with exceptional comfort, luxury and value that not only responds to those needs but will give retailers something unique for their floors.”
The Embrace Sleep line builds on the popularity of BIA’s Eclipse Glacier Black Ice split-head hybrids, which were unveiled in Vegas last year. Since its introduction, BIA’s retail partners have consistently expressed interest in an all-latex, split-head variation.
The collection retails from $2,699 to $3,799 in queen and will be on display at BIA’s Las Vegas showroom in B-1118 at the World Market Center.
