For the first time in its history, Cullman, Alabama-based top-of-bed manufacturer, DreamFit, is lifting its strict MAP pricing policy. A news release states that DreamFit will shift its policy on orders received between November 11 to November 22 for the holiday promotional period of Black Friday to Cyber Monday.
According to the company, the program, which is designed to help retailers boost sales, will give consumers 15% of all DreamFit products, 20% off StaDry sheet sheets and 30% off pillows.
“Economic challenges continue to affect retailers, and we want to do everything we can do demonstrate our support,” says Jerry Wootten, chief executive officer and founder of DreamFit. “We are committed to their success and these special promotions are designed to help them achieve a stronger fourth quarter and year end.”
The program also includes point-of-purchase materials and a new store locator to help drive traffic. DreamFit is encouraging dealers to sign in to its online resource center, the DreamFit Wholesale Portal to download materials that include images, social media posts and printable brochures, a promotional calendar and product information.
“Sleep essentials like sheets, mattress protectors and pillows are as vital as the mattress itself at all times, but they become imperative when foot traffic is lower,” said Chris Taheny, senior vice president of sales at DreamFit. “Additionally launching a new store locator feature allows consumers who want to touch and feel the product to shop by zip code to find nearby retailers so they can experience DreamFit’s products in before purchasing.”
