Family-owned luxury bed and components manufacturer Harrison Spinks announced several key appointments across its Leeds, England-based business. According to a news release, these new hires and promotions are intended to strengthen sales and drive export growth.
Lee Hinshaw will join Harrison Spinks as a business development director, a newly created role to bolster the company’s international presence. Hinshaw, who is based in Bangkok, Thailand, will help drive growth in the Asia Pacific region. Geert Geerkens also recently joined the company as a strategic consultant to support the company’s export strategy, particularly in Europe. Geerkens is also the president of the European Bedding Industries Association and Valumat, a Wemmel, Belgium-based processor of discarded mattresses.
Ian Owen has been promoted from sales manager to sales director at Spinks. In this role, Owen will lead sales for the spring manufacturing division, develop the sales team and assist agents and distributors across the globe. James Noble has also been promoted. Now the export sales and development manager for Harrison Spinks, he will oversee growth and export sales.
