Top-of-bed maker DreamFit has launched a new line of eco-friendly performance sheets called StaDry.
StaDry sheets incorporate technology that captures, moves and releases body moisture for breathability and cooling, regulating and controlling body heat, according to a news release. The sheets are made with a sustainable fiber crafted from recycled plastic water bottles that DreamFit also uses in their mattress protectors and pillows.
“We believe this technology to be a valuable addition to the list of options the consumer has to choose from,” said Chris Taheny, vice president of sales for Cullman, Alabama-based DreamFit. “A drier sleep environment offers an immediate improvement, and we were inspired by the effectiveness of StaDry in these categories so much that we needed to dedicate a DreamFit sheet set to it.”
The sheets — which are wrinkle-resistant and include a patented filled sheet with no-slip corner bands — are available in seven sizes and retail for $69.99 to $119.99.
DreamFit CEO Jerry Wootten said the StaDry line is another way the company is working to reduce its environmental impact.
“We are committed to do our part to help reduce DreamFit’s carbon footprint,” Wootten said. “Incorporating recycled fibers in products like StaDry reduces energy consumption during production, and it’s the right thing to do as a conscientious manufacturer. Our goal is to be a leader in sustainability, positively impacting the bedding industry at large.”
