Turning to the 2nd quarter YTD total for U.S.-produced mattresses and foundations, both unit shipments and wholesale dollars were down 14.4% and 5.9% respectively compared to the same period in 2022, while Q2 YTD average unit price increased by 9.9%.

The Bedding Market Quarterly reports U.S. sales activity (including Puerto Rico) based on data provided by 12 U.S. mattress producers. The participating companies accounted for 49.6% of the mattress units shipped and 66.3% of the wholesale market revenue for mattresses sold in 2022.

This quarterly report does not include U.S. sales of motion foundations. ISPA encountered data issues when collecting and analyzing sales and has discontinued reporting that information.
