Kingsdown Partners with Hooker Furnishings to Launch Margaritaville Mattress Collection at High Point Market

To capture the spirit of Margaritaville, Kingsdown has designed a collection of Margaritaville-inspired mattresses in six meticulously handcrafted comfort options that deliver a sophisticated, elevated interpretation of relaxed luxury, reflecting the distinctive character of the Margaritaville lifestyle. The line will debut during the Fall High Point Market, October 25–29, 2025, in a new Margaritaville-branded space inside the Hooker Furnishings showroom located in  Showplace, Floor 3.

“Our passion is designing mattresses with undeniable comfort that support healthy, restorative sleep,” said Frank Hood, chief executive officer, Kingsdown. “Partnering with Hooker Furnishings and Margaritaville enables us to bring that expertise into a collection that celebrates the effortless, island vibe we all love, aligning perfectly with our values. It’s an opportunity to bring a sense of relaxed luxury to the bedroom—turning every night into a restorative escape that feels like a personal getaway in Margaritaville.”

The collaboration brings together Kingsdown’s nearly 120 years of hand-crafted mattress-making expertise with Hooker Furnishings’ debut of its whole-home Margaritaville furniture collection. By uniting lifestyle-driven design with contract-grade performance, the line reflects a growing demand for furnishings that seamlessly transition between residential sanctuaries and hospitality spaces, delivering both style and lasting appeal.

“With their deep understanding of the luxury sleep market, Kingsdown is a natural partner,” said Johne Albanese chief marketing officer, Hooker Furnishings. “This collaboration will bring the Margaritaville way of life into everyday living, offering a collection that blends effortless, island-inspired comfort with handcrafted, high-quality design.”

As a key partner in this initiative, Kingsdown will play an essential role in bringing the collection to life at retail through Hooker Furnishings’ experiential displays and collaborations with select retailers across the country. Just as naturally, the collection extends into boutique hotels and resorts, where Kingsdown’s expertise in comfort, presentation, and performance ensures it will be as impactful in hospitality settings as it is in the home.

Blending lifestyle appeal with retail impact, the partnership transforms brand affinity into emotional connection, meaningful store visits, and hospitality opportunities.
