Hackensack, New Jersey-based Steinreich Communications Group Inc., an international public relations firm, has appointed home furnishings media executive Susan Jones as vice president of business development.
According to a news release, Jones will focus on creating new relationships with companies for the firm’s home furnishings industry group, led by Senior Vice President Kimberley Wray.
Jones was most recently publisher of Furniture, Lighting & Décor, where she led day-to-day operations of the company. Earlier in her career, she spent 17 years with Furniture Today, holding several regional sales manager roles before being promoted to associate publisher. Her career also included a stint as director of the home and gift segment of the Dallas Market Center, the news release said.
“Susan is considered one of the industry’s most insightful marketing executives who has helped hundreds of home furnishings companies create effective marketing plans that have delivered amazing results for them,” Wray said. “I have worked with her for nearly a decade, and she is one of the hardest-working, dedicated people in the space. She is a great addition to our team.”
