Novaya, part of Love Home Fabrics, announced that its Moreganic-certified natural latex has received the “Best of the Best” award at Interzum Cologne 2025. The award recognizes Wielsbeke, Belgium-based Novaya’s introduction of the market’s first Moreganic-certified latex product and components used in the production of mattresses, toppers and pillows.
According to a news release, Novaya’s Moreganic is an independent, open sustainability certification promoting sustainable biodiversity-positive agroforestry and full chain-of-custody transparency, rooted in the principles of ecological integrity, ethical responsibility and economic viability.
Moreganic incorporates verifiable biodiversity action plans that support multi-cropping with native trees, pollinators, soil health and agroforestry. Certified farms receive a price premium and ongoing coaching to enhance environmental and economic resilience. The program employs a traceable chain-of-custody system backed by on-the-ground audits, designed to align with upcoming regulations like the EU Deforestation Regulation and prepare for digital supply chain transparency. Developed through years of extensive field research and operational trials in natural rubber supply chains, Moreganic supports climate-smart sourcing and aligns with U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, the news release said.
Visitors at Interzum Cologne can experience Moreganic firsthand through a multisensory exhibit at Booth MO14 O029, Hall 11.2, showcasing how biodiversity and supply chain transparency come together on the ground.
