North Brunswick, New Jersey-based mattress manufacturer and licensing group Bedding Industries of America has created a new iteration of its YourComfort Collection that features cooling components in five new mattresses, expanding the brand’s “Fab Five” merchandising concept.

According to a news release, BIA’s YourComfort Chill consists of five models of varying comfort levels with the same level of craftsmanship as the original YourComfort hybrid collection. YourComfort Chill features a new cooling cover as well as copper-infused memory foam, two additions that provide a cooling, supportive sleep. The suggested retail price for YourComfort Chill begins at $1,799.

“With dealers asking us to add additional collections, we also see consumers continuing to gravitate toward cooling components in mattresses,” said Phil Carlitz, chief operating officer of BIA. “We felt it was imperative to create a new Fab Five lineup that added cooling comfort features to the already successful concept.”

Another new addition, POP headboards designed for retail display, describe the different comfort levels to educate shoppers about the feel of each mattress and who it is ideal for, such as “side sleepers who need extra pressure relief on hips and shoulders.” The headboards function as sales tools designed to grab shoppers’ attention as they begin their shopping process and reinforce the RSA’s presentations, the news release said.

“Our retailers have seen widespread success of our Fab Five concept featured in our YourComfort collection since its debut last year, with many of our dealers already offering multiple iterations on their floors at various price point levels,” Carlitz said. “They recognize that this merchandising concept helps maximize sales when door swings are down, because the uniform, easy-to-understand presentation increases the confidence of salespeople and shoppers alike.”
