Okay, so Craig, when you first started in this industry, who was buying adjustable bases?

Craig Wilson

You know, it’s funny when I first started; they were teaching us things like you were dealing with hiatal hernias and things like that, to this day. I don’t know what that is.

Kathryn Greene

It was more about the ailing age, not today. So who’s buying them now?

Craig Wilson

Oh, now it’s all about use use of the mattress. Do you watch TV in bed? We see numbers in the 60% range. Do you work in bed work on your laptop? Do you scroll? Of course, okay

Kathryn Greene

It’s almost like a command center of sorts at this point. So, how do you sell an adjustable base to just about anybody? Okay, here’s the secret to selling more adjustable bases. You’re gonna give it to you. I’m ready. Are you ready? I’m ready

Craig Wilson

Make it go upy downy. You with me? I’m with you so far. You gotta move it. You gotta show it. If you make an adjustable base go up and down, you will sell more of them. The more bases you move, the more Bases you will move. So it’s as simple as this. Step one. First, make sure there’s an adjustable base under the bed you’re about to show. Step two: Once they’re lying down, go ahead and lie down, Gary. The first thing I like to do is, even without telling them, I begin to raise it just a little bit, just take some pressure off that back. Now. Let me do something. Let me raise up your head just a little bit. Let me take some of that pressure off your back, and then take it all away, and then ask them a simple question: Which should you prefer? Nine out of ten times, they’re gonna say well, elevate it great.
