ABM International Inc., a fourth-generation, family-owned industrial machine manufacturer headquartered in Montgomery, Texas, has acquired Atlantic Automation Co., a global supplier of automated and industrial sewing machinery based in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
According to a news release, the AAC acquisition includes 86 employees, more than 238,000 square feet of additional manufacturing facilities and AAC’s engineering capabilities and service and support teams. The new divisions of ABM International will be known as Gribetz and Atlanta Attachment Co.

“After competing for more than 50 years, these manufacturers have combined to create a powerhouse of engineering and machine manufacturing expertise,” said Paul Block, president of sales for Gribetz. “We are excited at the prospect of adding the AAC service and parts team. Experienced and knowledgeable sales teams, along with long-standing worldwide service and sales agents from the companies, will converge to provide on-site solutions to all manufacturers’ growing needs.”
ABM said customers can research its machinery through the Gribetz website at Gribetz.com and the Atlanta Attachment website at AtlAtt.com. Service and support will remain intact, though customers may need to re-create their account login with the new website.
The AAC announcement follows ABM International’s March 2025 acquisition of Gribetz, Porter, Galkin and other assets of GSG Machinery. Other ABM divisions include its industrial quilting machine manufacturing, INNOVA Quilting Systems, Necchi U.S. home sewing and Accustitch, the news release said.
