The niche product is gaining interest at retail and can boost the average ticket and margins, says company President John Schulte. 

The new split head adjustable base for queen and king sizes will be among the featured products in the Symphony Sleep showroom at C-1507, July 28-August 1. These introductions will be offered in the entry level and premium adjustable base models, the ES200 andES500. Both models can be fitted with either the elevation or hi-low lift kits. 

This new product provides benefits to both retailers and their customers. Functionally, sleepers will have the freedom to articulate the head section of their bed independently from their sleep partner and enjoy truly customized comfort. For retailers, the split head adjustable base allows them to capitalize early and often in a niche market that is trending up as more consumers discover the options in the already growing category of adjustable bed bases.
