Abingdon, England-based sleep enhancement technology company Cambridge Sleep Sciences has partnered with Mexican bedding manufacturer and retailer Don Colchón to integrate its proprietary audio-based SleepEngine technology into the Mexican bedding manufacturer and retailer’s premium mattresses and pillow offerings.

According to a news release, the opportunity marks the first time that SleepEngine technology will be trialed within physical bedding products for the Latin American market and further strengthens Don Colchón’s reputation for sleep innovation in the region. The collaboration signals a growing trend in the global bedding industry: the fusion of traditional sleep solutions with science-driven, digital wellness technologies designed to address rising consumer demand for better, smarter sleep.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward in the global expansion of our SleepEngine technology,” said Adam Rostom, CEO of Cambridge Sleep Sciences. “Don Colchón’s deep market experience and commitment to sleep quality make them an ideal partner to translate our science into tangible, everyday solutions.”
Company officials said the SleepEngine technology is the result of 15 years of scientific research and development. It uses precisely engineered sound waves to guide the brain through natural sleep cycles, supporting deeper, longer, and more restorative rest — without the need for medication or wearables.
Through this new partnership, Don Colchón seeks to develop a smart mattresses and pillow offering with integrated SleepEngine audio delivery, helping customers optimize their sleep, recovery and performance, the news release said.
“Sleep is the foundation of physical and mental well-being,” said Jesús González Porte, CEO of Don Colchón, headquartered in Guadalupe, Mexico. “By integrating SleepEngine into our premium products, we are offering customers more than just comfort — we are helping them improve their quality of life. This partnership reflects our deep commitment to health, science, and innovation.”
