Ryan Trainer, recently retired president of the International Sleep Products Association, has been appointed to the Restonic Corp.’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. Trainer will advise on strategy, industry partnerships and corporate governance as Restonic continues to expand its brand presence and innovation agenda across North America and international markets, according to a news release.

“Ryan’s deep knowledge of the bedding industry and his history of fostering collaboration across all segments of the marketplace make him an outstanding addition to our board,” said Daniel Kantor, chair of the Restonic board. “His leadership at ISPA and his commitment to advancing the sleep products industry align perfectly with Restonic’s mission to improve lives through better sleep.”
Trainer said he is honored to join the board. “Having spent many years working to strengthen and represent the bedding industry, I’m excited to contribute to a brand that blends innovation, partnership and purpose,” he said. “Restonic’s values mirror my own commitment to integrity and collaboration.”
Laurie Tokarz, president of Oak Lawn, Illinois-based Restonic and chair of ISPA’s board of trustees, said they are delighted to welcome Trainer to Restonic’s board. “His advocacy on behalf of our industry, his strategic vision and his relationships across the sleep products value chain position him to help us accelerate our growth and deepen our partnerships. As we focus on innovation, retailer alignment and delivering better sleep for consumers, Ryan’s counsel will be invaluable.”
Trainer brings more than two decades of leadership and advocacy experience in the sleep products industry. During his tenure at ISPA, he played a central role in advancing industry standards, sustainability initiatives and consumer education efforts. His appointment underscores Restonic’s focus on governance excellence, disciplined execution and customer centric innovation, the news release said.
