North Brunswick, New Jersey-based mattress manufacturer and licensing group Bedding Industries of America has launched the Glacier Mattress brand, a new line of hybrid cooling mattresses designed and manufactured in the U.S. The brand will also expand its offerings to include bedding accessories and adjustable bases later this year.
According to a news release, Glacier mattresses feature GlacierTech fibers in the cover that are cool to the touch, while CopperElement memory foam, gel-infused memory foam and ventilated ARCFlow material promote airflow and dissipate heat. Individually wrapped coil units made in-house from recycled steel ensure exceptional support and durability, and ChiroZone quilt technology with extra stitching in the center third provides enhanced back support.
Glacier mattresses are 100% fiberglass-free, using natural thistle pulp fibers for fire resistance. The line also features Repreve recycled polyester, which eliminates four water bottles from the waste stream per queen mattress, and Oeko-Tex Standard 100-certified fabrics, ensuring fewer harmful chemicals for safer sleep.
BIA officials said the Glacier lineup includes three mattress options: the 12-inch Original Hybrid, which offers both comfort and support; the 13-inch Summit Hybrid Pillow Top, which features enhanced cooling gel and memory foam layers for additional pressure relief; and the 14-inch Apex Euro Pillow Top Hybrid, which incorporates CopperElement memory foam for a plush yet supportive sleep experience.
Every mattress is made to order in BIA’s Los Angeles, Chicago, and New Jersey factories, with delivery times as quick as 2-3 business days nationwide, the news release said.
