So, talk to us about adjustable bed bases. What’s going on with that?

Terry Cralle
We love them, Gerry, and the customers love them. Former patients love them. They are really an amazing thing. And I want people to be aware of all the benefits they provide because there’s more to it than just sitting up in bed watching T.V., which is a no-no. But I think until people get on that mattress and try them, they might not realize just how comfortable they are and how amazing they can feel in different sleep positions.

The base offers many more health benefits besides the sleeping positions, and I think they’re going to catch on and be here to stay.

Gerry Borreggine
Give me some numbers. What are some of the health clinical numbers that you know that you could share with us?

Terry Cralle
Well, I know we’ve got about a 60%-40% ratio. We’re selling more bases now because I think when we talk about sleep apnea, snoring, situations like that.

Gerry Borreggine
How about the foot elevation? How do you talk about that?

Terry Cralle
I’ve had customers with circulatory problems swelling. So there’s all kinds of aches and pains. I tore my rotator cuff a few years ago. I could not get comfortable on a flat surface, and going to an adjustable base was a game changer. Yeah.

Gerry Borreggine
If they have a king-size, can they still use two twin adjustables underneath that? Isn’t that a nicer way? I mean.

Terry Cralle
Exactly.

Gerry Borreggine
Gives you freedom of movement.

Terry Cralle
And even just that little bit, you’d be surprised how snoring can stop even with a very, very minute amount of head elevation.

Gerry Borreggine
So it’s important. Consumers need to know this, especially anti-snoring, all these benefits that it does provide circulatory benefits. Size benefits for larger sizes. These are all the things, all the talking points that you, as a sleep expert and a store proprietor, get to use right on your store floor here successfully. Terrific. Hey, this is Inside Track.
