I’m here today with Patrick Wolf from Diamond Mattress. Patrick, you’re going to tell us about your new super special Auto Pilot, your first foray into the Smartbed arena.
Patrick Wolf
Yes, I am Waynette. Thanks. Thanks for that. Auto Pilot has been a great success for us. We just rolled it out, but we tested it at some of our large retailers, and it did really well. And so now we’ve got it out there as our Auto Pilot Diamond branded program, and we’re really excited about it. We got a lot of attention here in the market, as you see right around you.
Waynette Goodson
Right, right. Well, now smartbed technology is just really filling up in the industry; it’s a really hot ticket item. How are you at Diamond differentiating your particular smartbed offering from all the other smartbeds out there?
Patrick Wolf
Yeah, that’s a great question. You know, we just look at what we do, and we do it really well. So we decided we’re going to find the best materials, right? We’re going to find the best applications and the best technology and wrap it into that shell. And we think we have a great-feeling bed that’s backed up by an app that you can use on your phone, that’s easy to use at retail, and that’s very comfortable.

And that the guests just love.

Wow. Well, I’m going to ask you to look into your crystal ball, okay? You know, think about 2025. And we’d love to talk about trends. Everyone loves to hear about trends. Is there another trend that’s inspiring Diamond right now? Perhaps a material or a new product coming in the future?
Patrick Wolf
Our biggest trend right now is Technogel. We’ve just recently rolled it out, and it’s an alternative in the luxury space that people are looking for with a different feel. Here at market, it’s gotten a lot of attention, and we think a lot of retailers are excited about it.
