New York City-based sleep products company Casper Sleep Inc. has unveiled its newest retail concept at its South Coast Plaza location in Costa Mesa, California. The recently refreshed space was a collaboration between Casper Labs (Casper’s research and development team) and Casper’s in-house retail and visual merchandising team, who reflected the company’s research and development pillars of cooling, support and comfort throughout the interiors.

According to a news release, the store boasts the company’s first Snooze Bar, a dedicated consultation area for Casper’s Sleep Specialists to educate potential customers, answer questions and offer advice about improving sleep quality. Over at The Pillow Lab, customers can test out Casper’s full lineup of pillows. In a first of its kind for the company, the retail location also includes a Bedroom DZzzign Center where customers and interior designers can virtually design a sleep setup using any of the products in Casper’s portfolio.

“At Casper, we believe that sleep is essential for well-being and happiness. That’s why we have created a new Casper Sleep Shop for customers to experience our products in a comfortable, engaging, and educational environment,” said Ben McCarthy, director of visual merchandising for Casper. “Our product displays encourage shoppers to touch, feel and learn about the design behind Casper’s obsessively engineered sleep offerings, such as our award-winning Cooling Collection. Casper is focused on making shopping for sleep joyful — whether online, in retail stores or through authorized retail partners.”

The store also offers complimentary nap appointments in 30-, 45- and 60-minute increments for consumers to trial sleep products. After stowing belongings in a secured locker to provide distraction-free rest, nappers are given a Sleep Provision Kit with an eye mask and essential oils to aid their rest. For those shopping with kids, the “Bunkhouse” contains a miniature room outfitted with a twin-size mattress for kids to test out.
