Syracuse, New York-based mattress retailer Metro Mattress announced Dino Cifelli as the company’s new CEO. The company was founded in 1978, and owns and operates 70 stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Rhode Island. Over the past several years, Metro Mattress has expanded with new store openings; Cifelli’s hiring is the latest move in its growth strategy.
Cifelli joins Metro Mattress with more than 30 years of experience in the retail furniture and bedding industry. He previously worked in leadership positions at Raymour & Flanigan Furniture, Sleepy’s and Furniture First. According to a release, Cifelli is known for his commitment to customer service and will work to increase the business performance of Metro Mattress.
