Serta Simmons Bedding, a leading global sleep company based in Doraville, Georgia, has named Cesar Perez as its new chief financial officer. Perez will report to newly appointed CEO Jim Loree and serve as a member of the company’s senior leadership team.
As CFO, Cesar oversees the finance organization and is responsible for operations, commercial and corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, finance shared services, internal audit, tax and treasury, information technology and information security.
Perez joins SSB with 19 years of finance leadership experience including Electrolux where he was CFO for North America and a member of the global CFO team. In that role, he served as strategic financial partner to the CEO, with P&L responsibility for a $5 billion business across manufacturing, R&D and distribution. Perez began his career at GE Appliances, spent more than a decade in financial management positions of increasing responsibility and ultimately was responsible for all aspects of finance for GE Appliance sales and marketing.
