Innovative Sleep Technologies and its Symphony Sleep brand’s adjustable bases and comprehensive marketing support are hitting all the right notes for two regional retailers. With a combined 48 stores, Metro Mattress and Old Brick Furniture and Mattress Co., are touting the solutions and service they receive from the St. Peters, Missouri-based adjustable base manufacturer.

According to a news release, New York-based Metro Mattress operates 40 stores across the state and three distribution centers in the Central, Eastern and Western U.S. All stores offer the full lineup of Symphony Sleep bases. They also carry two in-demand accessories: the Elevation Kit, which offers elevated or inclined sleep positions, and the Hi-Low Lift Kit, which addresses specific mobility or healthcare needs.
“The quality is top-notch, and it’s evident that a lot of thought has gone into designing consumer-friendly solutions. Each product feels thoughtfully crafted, catering to the needs and preferences of customers,” said Dino Cifelli, president and CEO of Metro Mattress.
Company officials said every Metro Mattress store is taking advantage of the marketing materials for Symphony Sleep’s “What’s Your Sleep Angle?” campaign, which was developed to empower RSAs to engage customers and explain the benefits of investing in a Symphony Sleep base with easy-to-understand information. Materials include floor displays, banners, a retainer-bar remote pocket holder, and a gravity-effect presentation bottle.
“It’s refreshing to see a company prioritize customer engagement,” Cifelli said. “Additionally, Symphony Sleep representatives are actively training in the field, which speaks volumes about the company’s dedication to both their staff and their customers. This hands-on approach ensures that the team is well-equipped to assist and provide valuable insights into the products.”
Old Brick Furniture and Mattress Co. said its eight stores in the Northeast offer three Symphony Sleep bases, including the ES200, the higher-end ES500 and ES600, the Elevation Kit and will offer the Hi-Low Lift Kit soon.
Symphony Sleep’s higher-end bases incorporate a QR code that consumers can scan to watch a short video demonstration while they interact with the remote and base. The videos are advantageous when the store is busy, understaffed or an RSA is unavailable, the news release said.
“Symphony Sleep’s unique POP materials like the floor stickers with QR codes that access sales presentation videos for the bases we display have been great for customer engagement as well as an additional training tool for our RSAs, which complement the in-person training the Symphony team offers” said Brian Motyl, vice president of sales for Old Brick. “They have been a great partner and a great brand addition to our retail stores. They offer a very high-quality product with a program that allows us to build the ticket while addressing our customer’s needs.”
