Foam de Honduras, a mattress manufacturer and Tempur-Sealy licensee headquartered in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, is expanding its direct-to-consumer sales by opening 14 new retail stores in the country.
According to company officials, the family-owned mattress and sleep product manufacturer recently opened its 14th retail store in Honduras, with three more scheduled to open in 2025. The company has a 130,000-square-foot, vertically integrated manufacturing plant in San Pedro Sula, where it produces licensed Tempur-Sealy products as well as its own Relax brand of mattresses, pillows and accessories.
“We feel that the greatest benefit of our new Relax-branded retail stores is that we get to interact with our customers and address their issues and questions directly,” said John E. Chahin, general manager of Foam de Honduras. “This helps us more effectively guide them to their ideal sleep system.”
