NEWS RELEASE | 2024 FALL HIGH POINT MARKET

Sleep On Green, a 40-year-old Italian mattress and pillow company, will make its High Point Market debut Oct. 26-30, 2024. The producer, which is based in Italy and distributed in the U.S. from Miami, Florida, will premiere the Dolce Vitá eco-luxury mattressin the Gamma showroom within Casa Italia at 130 W Commerce Ave.

“Our newest innovation, the Dolce Vitá eco-luxury mattress, which is our pinnacle of customization, allows for distinct firmness levels on each side of the bed. This adaptability is achieved by rearranging the internal layers, making it an ideal choice for couples with differing preferences and evolving sleep needs,” Sleep On Green founder and owner Fidenzio Bizzotto said. “Our entire team is thrilled to be exhibiting at High Point Market, and to be partnering with the Gamma showroom to debut our eco-luxuryDolce Vitá mattress.”

According to a news release, Fidenzio and Grazia Bizzotto founded Sleep On Green after a motorcycle accident left their son, Christian, bedridden in 2007. During his recovery, the Bizzottos realized that Christian’s standard memory foam mattress lacked the proper support and breathability he needed during his recovery.  Driven by this experience, Fidenzio Bizzotto, who has 30 years of experience in home furnishings and design, assembled a team of sleep experts, researchers and producers to develop Sleep On Green, a company that produces mattresses and pillows that combine eco-consciousness, health and comfort.

“Since we founded Sleep on Green, our mission has been to nurture our planet, one mattress and one person at a time,” Fidenzio Bizzotto said.

Today, Sleep On Green is known for its sustainable, biodegradable, chemical-free mattresses, handcrafted in Italy using all-natural materials like cotton, wool, Tencel fiber, coconut fiber and Talalay latex, the news release said.

“Our goal matches Fidenzio’s mission: crafting each piece by hand, where the detail and precision can be seen in every stitch,” Grazia Bizzotto said. “Over 20 years of research and development, Sleep On Green’s team of scientists has worked to develop a mattress that is a healthy and luxurious alternative to the chemical-filled mattress that we sleep on today.”
