Newark-New Jersey-based Shifman Mattresses has added Spencer Lineback to its sales team to lead growth in the mid-Atlantic territory, as the luxury mattress manufacturer continues to expand its footprint nationally.
As mid-Atlantic territory sales manager, Lineback is responsible for North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. He will report to company sales director James Berry.
“Spencer brings a unique perspective as a sales professional, thanks to his background in B2C mattress sales and B2B branding and marketing sales,” Berry said. “It will serve him and Shifman well as he helps drive growth in a territory that is key to Shifman’s expansion and overall strategy.”
Prior to joining Shifman, Lineback worked with Resident Home as Southeast accounts manager focusing on direct-to-consumer and business-to-business sales for mattress brands Nectar and Dreamcloud. His sales career in the industry includes stints at suppliers and service providers, such as Colonial Display & Branding, Maxime Knitting, and Wright Creative Branding & Labels.
