Hoboken, New Jersey-based Avocado Green Mattress has expanded its lineup of bedding for babies and kids with the launch of its Eco Organic Crib Mattress. According to a news release, the mattress is crafted with certified organic cotton, wool and coconut fiber over a core of 241 individually wrapped innerspring coils made from upcycled steel.
Certified organic by GOTS, the mattress is also free of polyurethane foams, vinyl, FR materials and waterproofing chemicals. The Eco Organic Crib Mattress retails for $249 in a single-sided option for infants or $299 in a dual-sided option for infants and toddlers.
