A.H. Beard has appointed Matthew Beard CEO of the Padstow, Australia-based independent premium bedding producer, effective immediately.
According to a news release, Matthew Beard is a fifth-generation member of Beard’s founding family and brings a deep understanding of the company’s values, a strong vision for sustainable growth, and a passion for innovation within Australia’s manufacturing sector.
“Matthew has been immersed in the business from an early age,” Chairman Garry Beard said. “His appointment represents both a continuation of our family legacy and a bold step forward — bringing a younger generation’s spirit and insight to the evolving needs of our industry and customers.”
Beard has extensive experience in the company’s operations, product development, retail management and strategy. As CEO, he will focus on innovation, sustainability and reinforcing the company’s reputation for Australian-made quality, the news release said.
