Capital Bedding Debuts Balance Mattress Collection

Capital Bedding Debuts Balance. Balance collection creates ergonomic support.

Verona, Mississippi-based mattress company Capital Bedding has developed a new mattress brand designed with the anatomy of the human body in mind.

According to a news release, the Balance collection creates ergonomic support using a combination of 5-Zone comfort layers on top of a 5-Zone pocketed coil unit for pressure relief and support. By relieving pressure points, the mattresses lessen the disruption of blood flow and help reduce restlessness, company officials said.

All 11 models of the collection feature cooling covers with a custom, geometric design that doubles as a tool for retail sales associates. RSAs can ask potential customers to sit in the middle hip zone and then lie back to align their bodies over the pattern, which visually highlights the different ergonomic zones.

“Today’s consumers are very savvy, but they still need to have trust in the brand and the buying process to make a purchase,” said Scott Miller, vice president of Capital Bedding. “Balance was designed to help the retail sales associate easily present the product, and for the consumer to completely understand its overall features and benefits.”

The line will begin to ship across the United States starting in mid-November. All models are shippable as flat-packed units or rolled as a boxed bed. In queen sizes, the retail price of the Balance Collection ranges from $399 to $1,299.
