Mlily USA Supports Veterans With Mattress Donation

Mlily USA, based in Knoxville, Tennessee, supports veterans in its recent contributions to the 2024 ART Conference held earlier in May. This year’s community service project was dedicated to enhancing the living conditions for homeless veterans served by Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana Veterans Services program.

The program provides transitional housing and rehabilitation services for homeless male veterans. Mlily delivered 60 hybrid mattresses to the program at their Napoleon Avenue and Pitt Street Veterans facilities in New Orleans.

“It is our honor to support American veterans through this initiative and provide essential comfort in a way that can profoundly improve their sleeping and waking lives,” said Kyle Robertson, chief operations officer for Mlily. “Giving back to the communities in which we work and live is one of our core values and deeply ingrained in our company culture.”

The ART conference volunteers will focus on refurbishing the living quarters and communal outdoor areas, ensuring that the veterans enjoy a comfortable environment. The donation by Mlily USA will replace older bedding materials and upgrade the living conditions.

This contribution was Mlily’s first involvement in the ART community service projects, an engagement made possible through its longtime leasing partner Andmore, according to a news release. Mlily USA is committed to supporting community initiatives like ART and its recently extended partnership with Special Spaces, a nonprofit organization that creates dream bedroom makeovers for children with cancer.
