Sinomax USA, a vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor of compressed mattresses, pillows and toppers, has named mattress industry veteran Vincent Passanisi to the position of vice president of business development and contract/OEM.
“Sinomax USA is very excited to have Vince joining our sales leadership team as we continue to grow our domestic, vertically integrated mattress programs across the country,” says Eric Jent, chief commercial officer at Sinomax USA, based in Houston.
Passanisi comes to the company with more than 25 years of mattress experience at wholesale, retail and in the private label and contract/OEM channel. Most recently, he was the executive vice president of retail sales at Emma Sleep, a DTC mattress brand. In previous sales management positions, he worked for well-known brands Sealy, Ashley Furniture and Resident Home (Nectar).
Passanisi’s primary focus will be drawing on his previous experience to grow the company’s mattress business across the furniture and mattress channels, along with the private label and OEM channels.
